Do you have the opportunity to do what you do best every day?

Chances are, you don't. All too often, our natural talents go untapped. From the cradle to the cubicle, we devote more time to fixing our shortcomings than to developing our strengths.  Research though shows the highly successful people are not well-rounded!  They know what their natural talents are and spend most of their time doing what comes natural to them.

During September’s WE meeting, Coach Keith Baldwin will present an introduction to Gallup Strengths. Starting to understand your strengths will help you:
  1. focus on activities that contribute the most to your business, and
  2. help you develop strategies to cover areas that don't come natural to you.
To help people uncover their talents, Gallup introduced the first version of its online assessment, StrengthsFinder, in the 2001 management book Now, Discover Your Strengths. The book spent more than five years on the bestseller lists and ignited a global conversation around strengths based development.  Since then there have been a multitude of best sellers including Strengths Finder 2.0Strengths based LeadershipStrengths Based Selling, and Go Put Your Strengths to Work
Based on over fifty years of research of successful individuals and teams, the Gallup Strength assessment has been taken by over nine million people.  Gallup research shows that people who have the opportunity to focus on their strengths every day are six times as likely to be engaged in their careers, more productive, and more than three times as likely to say they have an excellent quality of life!
Keith is a certified professional coach and Gallup trained Strengths Coach who helps small business owners leverage their strengths and take action towards the business outcomes they dream of.
For anyone interested in coming to the meeting knowing what your strengths are, you can take the assessment here:  If you’ve already taken the assessment, please bring your results to the meeting.
